Women’s sobriety support circle

A monthly online circle to be heard and held, and to hear from others walking the same path.

A space to be

as you are

  • You are welcome whatever point you’re at in your journey to change your relationship with alcohol. You might be at the very beginning or have been sober for years. You don’t have to be alcohol-free or even have the intention of completely quitting. Wherever you are, you are welcome.

  • All methods and models of recovery are welcome. No feedback, opinions or advice will be given: just gentle acknowledgement that you have been witnessed, heard and held by the group.

  • This is for you if you ever feel alone in your journey. I wanted to create these circles as a place to gather like-minded women who are struggling with the same things and who have a deep understanding of what this journey is really like.

  • This is for you if you’re looking for a group where you can show up just as you are. Where you will be able to gently drop into your body, breathe out, and have a space for yourself each month to feel witnessed, heard and held in whatever you are feeling.

A chance to pause and be present.

To be heard and held.

To listen and to witness.

  • We will gather online each month. This is space to pause, breathe and be present with yourself and others. There won’t be a WhatsApp or Facebook group, but if you’d like extra support from me you can reach out on email at hello@ellie-nova.com or have a look at my one-to-one coaching offers.

  • This isn’t a call to join if you are driving or doing something else. This is a chance for you to take 90 minutes for yourself each month, both to be held and to listen deeply to others. I really encourage you to have your camera on, even if you choose not to share

  • If you feel nervous about speaking please know that you do not need to share anything. You are so welcome to simply sit and listen and take time for yourself.

  • Sessions won’t be recorded, we will have very clear guidelines which I will share via email and at the beginning of the circles.

  • This is a circle for women, inclusive of anyone who identifies as a woman and non-binary people who identify with women’s communities. If you’re looking for a circle tailored for men, please get in touch and I can recommend some.

  • 'I attended Ellie's first women's circle today and couldn't recommend it more. As someone who has been trying out different tools on the journey to sobriety for a while now, I was both nervous and intrigued to try a women's circle for the first time. Ellie held space for attendees beautifully, putting us at ease, encouraging us to share as much or as little as we wanted. Her content was inspiring and thoughtful.'

    Leanne, women’s circle attendee

  • “Thanks for today Ellie, it was lovely. When strangers can be so open and vulnerable together there is real healing. I found it really great.”

    - Helen

  • 'Ellie’s kindness, care and compassion coupled with her ability to share the pure reality has helped me take continual steps forward. When I have had set backs or wavering moments Ellie has listened closely and guided me through. Her experience, wisdom and steadfast belief in me and my journey has been invaluable. I wish for us all to have an Ellie in our lives!'

    Melina, sober mentee

  • 'My experience working with Ellie has been transformational. I think Ellie’s support would benefit anyone who is open to a spiritual approach and can accept that their alcohol issue isn't their fault but is a reaction to pain in their soul and that understanding where that pain is can help set you free.'

    Helen, coaching client

  • No. In order to create as safe and confidential a space as possible, sessions won’t be recorded. They can only be joined live.

  • There won’t be a WhatsApp or Facebook group of any kind. I wanted to keep this space simple and focus on taking time to drop into your body and exhale without creating additional noise. If you need support after a circle, please reach out to me and I would love to help.
