Women’s sobriety support circle

A monthly online circle to be heard and held, and to hear from others walking the same path.

A space to be

as you are

  • You are welcome whatever point you’re at in your journey to change your relationship with alcohol. You might be at the very beginning or have been sober for years. You don’t have to be alcohol-free or even have the intention of completely quitting. Wherever you are, you are welcome.

  • All methods and models of recovery are welcome. No feedback, opinions or advice will be given: just gentle acknowledgement that you have been witnessed, heard and held by the group.

  • This is for you if you feel alone in your journey and like most other people in your life just don’t ‘get it’. I wanted to create these circles as a place to gather like-minded women who are struggling with the same things and who have a deep understanding of what this journey is really like.

  • This is for you if you’re looking for a sobriety or recovery support group that is different from traditional recovery models. Where you can show up just as you are and nothing is expected of you. Where you will be able to gently drop into your body, breathe out, and have a space for yourself each month to feel witnessed, heard and held in whatever you are feeling.

  • This circle is for you if you struggle with self-compassion, slowing down and resting. If you have high standards for yourself and beat yourself up when you don’t meet them. If you think you have to do everything perfectly. Knowing you are not alone in this can be deeply comforting.

  • We will gather online each month. This is space to pause, breathe and be present with yourself and others. There won’t be a WhatsApp or Facebook group, but if you’d like extra support from me you can reach out on email at hello@ellie-nova.com or have a look at my one-to-one coaching offers.

  • This isn’t a call to join if you are driving or doing something else. This is a chance for you to take 90 minutes for yourself each month, both to be held and to listen deeply to others. I really encourage you to have your camera on, even if you choose not to share

  • If you feel nervous about speaking please know that you do not need to share anything. You are so welcome to simply sit and listen and take time for yourself.

  • Sessions won’t be recorded, we will have very clear guidelines which I will share via email and at the beginning of the circles.

  • This is a circle for women, inclusive of anyone who identifies as female. If you’re looking for a circle tailored for men, please get in touch and I can recommend some.

A chance to pause and be present.

To be heard and held.

To listen and to witness.

The details

  • Each circle will take place at 12 noon (UK time) on the first Wednesday of the month.

  • They will be 1.5 hours.

  • There will be a guided meditation, brief check-in, poem or reading on a particular theme and then I will open the space for sharing.

  • You might share about where you’re at with your drinking, how the theme lands for you, or whatever is on your heart.

  • We will listen and acknowledge you, but no feedback or advice will be given.

  • Sessions won’t be recorded.

  • The first free taster session will be 1 October 2025 (book below).

  • After the first free session I will invite you to book for 3 circles (total £45).

  • If that price is prohibitive, please get in touch as I want this circle to be as inclusive as possible. I have low-cost and free options available.

  • Any questions? Email me at hello@ellie-nova.com

FAQs

  • You can join any circle for free to see if it’s right for you. After that the investment is £45 for 3 circles which is non-refundable.

  • If you can’t make one, just let me know with as much notice as possible. You are welcome to join a later circle so that you attend all 3 that you paid for.

  • No. In order to create as safe and confidential a space as possible, sessions won’t be recorded. They can only be joined live.

  • There won’t be a WhatsApp or Facebook group of any kind. I wanted to keep this space simple and focus on taking time to drop into your body and exhale without creating additional noise. If you need support after a circle, please reach out to me and I would love to help.

  • I'd love to answer them! Either book a free discovery call with me or email me at hello@ellie-nova.com

“I feel on the edge of a new adventure! I thought I would feel nervous at even considering giving up alcohol, but all I have in my head right now are the words 'Joy' and 'Present' I'm excited to explore more.”

‘My experience working with Ellie has been transformational. I want to give my heartfelt thanks for doing the work she does. Having a coach with lived experience, who had come out of the other side, was the key for me in uncovering exactly what was going on and starting the path to change.’
